Dundrennan is a village in Kirkcudbrightshire, about five miles east of Kirkcudbright. Its population is around 230. It is most notable for the ruins of Dundrennan Abbey, a 12th-century Cistercian monastery. The weapons testing establishment Dundrennan Range is also nearby.

Since 2001 the Wickerman music festival has been held on the nearby farm of East Kirkcarswell. (The 1973 film The Wicker Man was filmed at Gatehouse of Fleet; a fair way further west but close enough.)
