Staploe is a small village in north-eastern Bedfordshire, close by the border with Huntingdonshire. The village is on the Duloe Brook, close by Duloe itself (a village barely bigger), and just west of the edge of Eaton Socon.

Staploe was originally accounted a hamlet of Eaton Socon. The Parish of Staploe today includes Duloe, Honeydon, Upper Staploe and Bushmead, where Bushmead Priory is found.
