Durris is a parish in northern Kincardineshire adjacent to the border with Aberdeenshire. It is located seven miles north-west of Stonehaven on the south bank of the River Dee, which forms the county border.

The parish is traversed by the A957 road from Stonehaven to Banchory. At Cairnmonearn the land rises 1,020 feet above sea-level.

The parish church is situated in the aptly named village Kirkton of Durris. On Castle Hill are the remains of an ancient fortification, and at Red Beard is a chalybeate spring.
