Thirl Moor is a hill of 1,831 feet amongst the Cheviot Hills, in Northumberland, very close to the boundary with Roxburghshire, and the source of the River Coquet.

The hill slopes are within the Otterburn Ranges – access therefore is limited when army live firing is on.
