The Carron Water at High Enoch

The Carron Water is a tributary of the River Nith in Dumfriesshire. It rises in the Dalveen Pass in the Lowther Hills as its headwater streams, the Dinabid Linn, Dalveen Lane and Lavern Burn, join together to create the Carron Water.

From here the river flow southwards, to the west of the village of Durisdeer, and meets the Nith at Carronbridge.
