J M Barrie's Birthplace is a museum in Kirriemuir in Angus, consisting of the house in which J M Barrie was born. It is owned by the National Trust for Scotland.
Barrie is most famous as the author of Peter Pan, and in Kirriemuir stands a statue not of Barrie but of Peter Pan, "the boy who never grew up".
Another National Trust property in the town is the Kirriemuir Camera Obscura.
