Vysokaya Bank

The Vysokaya Bank is an undersea ridge lying beneath the waves to the southwest of the South Sandwich Islands, 25 miles from Thule Island at approximately 59°43'S 27°58'W

The bank is believed to be an undersea volcanic ridge, which is still potentially active, and in this the Vysokaya Bank would be in character with the rest of the South Sandwich Islands chain.
