The Brown Flesk

The Brown Flesk is one of the two main tributary rivers of the River Maine in County Kerry, thee other being the Little Maine.

The river rises in the hills in the east of the county around Scartaglin and Farranfore, and flows generally westwards. It flows by Kerry Airport before heading north and joining the River Maine.

The Brown Flesk is reckoned one of the best rivers in Kerry for salmon and trout.
