Hambrook is a hamlet in the very south-west of Sussex, strung along a north-south land between the tearing hurry of the A27 dual carriageway to the north and the gentler A259 to the south, an old Roman road. The hamlet is just east of Southbourne and two miles east of the Hampshire border. A lane leads south beyond the Roan road onto the peninsula which Chidham sits.
