Cox Reef is a cluster of rocks awash west-north-west of Cape Adelaide, a headland of Adelaide Island.

The reef was charted by a Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit from HMS Protector in 1963 and named after AB Edward Francis Cox, RN (b. 1940), a member of the unit.
