Donkey Plain is a small plain which extends across part of the middle of Ascension Island, the northernmost isle of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. It is found to the west of the island's peak massif, the Green Mountain. The island's capital, Georgetown, is to the west-north-west and RAF Ascension Island to the south-west.

The plain is named for the many feral donkeys which roam the island.

In the middle of the plain is Lady Peak, rising to 1,080 feet.

In the mid-1960s, Cable & Wireless and Marconi built an earth station on Donkey Plain. This was at the request of NASA, and was used to transmit microwave borne data via the Early Bird Satellite back to the latter's facility at Andover, Maine in the United States.[1]
