Upton is a little farming village in the Soke of Peterborough, Northamptonshire. Its stands apart from the swelling city of Peterborough, sufficiently far from the edge of its conurbation not to have been swallowed as yet.

South of the village down a narrow lane, the A47 slices across the countryside. Across it lie Sutton and to the east Ailsworth and Castor. The Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre lies just to the west of Upton.
