Hoselaw Loch
Hoselaw Loch is a small, freshwater lake in Roxburghshire, some 600 yards long, which is to be found two and a half miles north of Town Yetholm and less than half a mile west of the boundary of Northumberland. The nearest town is Kelso, five miles to the west
The loch forms part of the 'Hoselaw Loch and Din Moss' nature reserve, which is designated a 'site of special scientific interest', a 'Special Protection Area' and a 'Ramsar site', because of the large numbers of geese overwintering there, especially the Icelandic/Greenland Pink-footed Goose Anser brachyrhynchus and the Icelandic Greylag Goose Anser anser.
