Queen's Nympton or Queensnympton is a small civil parish in Devon, without any village, just scattered farms, and according to the 2001 census, had a population of just 32.
The name is from the ‘River Nymet’, now known as the Mole, which flows through the parish. The name is found also in King's Nympton (some way to the south of the river), Bishop's Nympton and George Nympton.
The civil parish was created in 1894, from an exclave of the ancient parish of South Molton.[1]
From northwards clockwise, the parish borders George Nympton, Bishop's Nympton, Mariansleigh, Romansleigh, and King's Nympton.
