Knock Fell, orherwise known as ‘Knock of Luce’, is a modest hill of 574 feet in Wigtownshire. It is an outlier of the Galloway Hills, by the north coast of Luce Bay.
The summit is crowned with the earthworks of a hill fort,[1] and with cairn and a more modern artefact - a trig pillar. Other traces of past ages around the hill include prehistoric burnt mounds.[2]
