Mount Wanous is a mountain on the north-east side of Mackin Table, part of the Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains in Queen Elizabeth Land, in the British Antarctic Territory. Its summit is at about 5,450 feet, four and a half nautical miles east of Pierce Peak at the north-east edge of the Mackin Table

This mountain was named after Richard E. Wanous, the United States Antarctic Research Program geophysicist, Pensacola Mountains Project, 1965-66.
