Location: 64°49’60"S, 63°30’0"W
Data

Goudier Island is a small island with an appearance of bare, polished rock, lying just 100 yards north of Jougla Point in the harbour of Port Lockroy, which is on Wiencke Island, in the Palmer Archipelago of the British Antarctic Territory. Here stands the southernmost post office in the world: Port Lockroy.[1]

The island was discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05, under Jean-Baptiste Charcot, and named after E Goudier, chief engineer of the expedition ship Français.
