Kilcorney or Kilcorny is a small village in the Barony of Muskerry West in north-western County Cork. It is found about 22 miles north-west of Cork, and four miles east of Millstreet. In 2006, the population of the Kilcorney and its wider parish were recorded as 305.
The name of the village is from the Irish Cill Cóirne, meaning 'Church of the stone fence (or weir)'.[1]
