Shelton is a small village and ancient parish in the Stodden Hundred of Bedfordshire.

The settlement forms part of the Dean and Shelton civil parish (where to 2011 Census population was included), and is close to the county borders with Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire.

The 14th-century church of St Mary the Virgin is located in the village. It is a Grade-I listed building.[1]
