Santon is a depopulated village located in the Grimshoe hundred of Norfolk, near Santon Downham in Suffolk.[1][2] Moated earthworks and other remains of the mediæval village are a scheduled monument.[1]
The village church of All Saints' was rebuilt from ruins in the 17th century by Thomas Bancrofte, the sole parishioner at that time.[1]
The site is adjacent to the Forestry Commission's St Helen's picnic site.[3]
