The {{{nnr}}} template is intended to link to the details for reserves enrolled as 'National Nature Reserves'. These are on databases which work differently depending on their location and so the parameters used differ:
- England: It needs a serial number as the {{{1}}} parameter, and the name of the reserve (without the 'National Nature Reserve' label) as {{{2}}}, although this can be omitted if it is the same as the page name.
- Northern Ireland: There is no serial number: the name will suffice, so the name is in {{{1}}}, or can be omitted if it is the page name
- Scotland: There is no serial number: the name will suffice, so the name is in {{{1}}}, or can be omitted if it is the page name
- Wales: I have not found an equivalent coherent system so this will not link at all.
- Elsewhere: Not researched or filled in yet.
