St Catherine's Church, Preston next Faversham

Preston-next-Faversham is an ancient parish in the Faversham Hundred of Kent, that forms a suburb of Faversham itself. Historically it was a separate village, and became a civil parish in 1866, but in 1894 was divided into three civil parishes: Preston Within, North Preston Without and South Preston Without. All three civil parishes were absorbed into Faversham in 1935.[1]

The ecclesiastical parish remains. The parish church of St Catherine is of Norman origin.[2]
