Runston Chapel in 2006

Runston is a lost mediæval village in Monmouthshire to the north-east of Crick. The remains are visible under the ground surrounding the now-ruined 12th-century Runston Chapel. The village fell into ruin in the 18th century. It lies in a detached part of the ancient parish of St Pierre, the parish which is alternatively known as St Pierre with Runston.
