The Dunglass Viaduct is a railway viaduct across the Dunglass Deane, the valley of the Dunglass Burn, which here marks the boundary between Berwickshire and East Lothian. It is close to the North Sea coast, in the major transport corridor between the moor and the sea. The A1 road crosses the valley beside it.
This is a six-span viaduct with a 135-foot central span flanked on one side by two smaller arches and on the other by three. The arch rings, quoins on the piers, and the buttresses on either side of the main span are of ashlar, the rest of the masonwork being coursed rubble. The buttresses have incised linear ornament.
The viaduct was built by the North British Railway and opened 1846. It still carries the Edinburgh-Newcastle portion of the Edinburgh - London (King's Cross) 'East Coast Main Line' over the Dunglass Dean.
