about Saddell Bay)

Saddell Bay is an embayment along the eastern side of the Kintyre peninsula of Argyllshire, where the Saddell Water enters the sea.

The bay is on Kilbrannan Sound, which separates Kintyre from the Isle of Arran. Other bays along the east side of Kintyre include Kildonald Bay and Dippen Bay.

Just inland from the bay is the little village of Saddell, and by its shore stand Saddell Castle and the ruins of Saddell Abbey.
