The Bridge of Alvah, built in 1772, is a magnificent semicircular 'rubble arch' bridge over the River Deveron in Banffshire, a little south of Banff. The closest hamlet is Kirktown of Alvah, on the west side of the river.
The bridge carries no more than an estate road appurtenant to Duff House (leading from Montcoffer Mains across to Mill of Alvah) but it is noted for its elegance.
An unusal feature of the bridge is a chamber in the west abutment; a room incorporated within the structure for the toll collector.
