Thurning is a village in Northamptonshire, in the north-east of the county, about 5.5 miles south-east of Oundle. The village is on the very edge of Huntingdonshire, and indeed its parish church falls withing Huntingdonshire

At the time of the 2001 census, the population of Thurning Civil Parish was just 93.
