MaldonMaldon is a port town on the Blackwater estuary in Essex. A pretty town and ancient, its high street runs down the hill to the town's key on the Blackwater, where Maldon's second heart lies. The Blackwater here is broad, though at low water its channel shrinks to a narrow river slicing through the black mud.
