Information |
Earlswood Moat House is a house, once a moated formhouse, in Earlswood (to the west of Dorridge) in Warwickshire. It is in the care of the National Trust.
The age of the house is uncertain. A twentieth century inscription dates it to around 1480, though there are later additions and alterations, including a range probably of thr 17th century. It has two storeys and its timber framing informs it details. It appears to be a cruck house in general construction.[1][2]
There is a nature reserve by the house.
