Cruach Scarba is the highest peak on the little island of Scarba in Argyllshire. It rises above the main ridge of the isle to 1,473 ft and provides a fine view over Scarba, Jura and the dramatic tidal effects convulsing the Gulf of Corryvreckan between the two.
The rough summit ridge can be accessed from the harbour at the north end of the island, from where a vehicle track leads up past Kilmory Lodge to a height of about 600 feet. After that, there are no paths or well defined routes, and the terrain becomes rough and boggy.
