Mount Hunter is a mountain of 5,138 feet in the Sweeney Mountains in southern Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory. Its summit stands two and a half miles south-east of Potter Peak. A ridge almost five miles long runs south-westwards from the peak.

This mountain is named after Dr Morag A. Hunter (b. 1970), BAS sedimentologist (1997-2009): her work established the stratigraphy for this area.
