Template:Ownership cat is for placing in infoboxes.
This template interrogates the {{{ownership}}} field and {{#var:shire}} variable to produce a Category for the article based on ownership and county / territory, if such a category has been created and included in this template. In Yorkshire it will add an ownership category based on the riding also.
Ownership categories
Currently the only ownership categories which it anticipates are:
- National Trusts (incl the National Trust National Trust for Scotland and those for the Crown dependencies and overseas territories)
- An Taisce
- Landmark Trust and Irish Landmark Trust
- Heritage and state care bodies:
- Heritage Ireland
- Cadw
- English Heritage
- Historic Scotland / Historic Environment Scotland
- Manx National Heritage
- State care
- Scottish Natural Heritage
- Gibraltar Heritage Trust
- Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
- Lighthouse boards:
- Commissioners of Irish Lights
- Northern Lighthouse Board
- Trinity House
