Hampreston is a small village by Ferndown in eastern Dorset, southern England. Before 1972, the whole parish took the name of Hampreston, with its population rising from 1,860 in 1921 to 11,750 in 1971.

The parish church, All Saints' Church, is largely an early 15th century edifice: the tower and nave were built in this period. A porch was added in the 20th century. It is a Grade II* listed building.[1]

The village also has a school and a farm shop.
