Site of Roborough Castle

Roborough Castle is an Iron Age enclosure or hill fort in northern Devon, on Exmoor close to the north coast of the county and to the town of Lynton.

The fort is on the north-east edge of a hillside forming a promontory above a tributary to the East Lyn River known as Hoaroak Water at 1,050 feet above sea level.[1]
