Goose GreenGoose Green is a settlement on East Falkland, standing on the island's central isthmus, which joins Lafonia to the northern part of the island. With a population of about 70, Goose Green is the largest settlement of the Falkland Islands after Stanley. This was the scene of the first land battle in the Falklands War of 1982. (Read more) |
