Osgodby is a village and civil parish in the North Riding of Yorkshire, three and a half miles south of Scarborough on the A165 road. It originates as a township of the ancient parish of Seamer.
According to the 2011 UK census, Osgodby parish had a population of 1,248,[1] an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 1,186.[2]
