Reagh Island is a long, thin island within Strangford Lough in County Down, on the west side of the lough. It is one of the largest islands in Strangford Lough and one of the few which are inhabited. It is joined to the mainland of County Down by a causeway, and by another carrying the same road on to the lough's largest island, Mahee Island immediately to the south. It is also joined by a private causeway to Cross Island to the east, which is privately owned.
This is a modest island still, mainly farmland, a mile and a half long but just 650 yards broad at its widest, yet reckoned the second largest isle within the lough.
The island is about three miles south-east by road from Lisbane. The foreshore of the island, as around most of the lough shore, belongs to the National Trust, which also provides a small car park.
