The Vale of Grwyney is a civil community in southern Brecknockshire, adjacent to the border with Monmouthshire. Villages and hamlets include Glangrwyney in the south and Partrishow on the eastern boundary. The north of the parish includes the Grwyne Fawr reservoir. It corresponds to the ancient parishes of Llanbedr, Llanelieu, Llangenny, Patrishow, and the townships of Grwyne Fechan and Grwyne Fawr in the parish of Talgarth.
