Platform Reef

Platform Reef is a detached reef off Landing Beach, on the south shore of Bird Island, off South Georgia. The feature marks a dangerous area for navigation and is also commonly used as a study location by the British Antarctic Survey staff at Bird Island Research Station.

The reef if named due to its location relative to Landing Beach.
