Stewarton is a hamlet on the junction of the B842 and B843 roads on Kintyre in Argyllshire, about a mile and a half west of Campbeltown.[1]
In the days when the Campbeltown and Machrihanish Light Railway was in operation, there was a station here, Plantation Halt: it opened in 1906 and closed in 1932.
