Deacon Peak is a hill of 558 feet marking the highest point of Penguin Island in the South Shetland Islands of the British Antarctic Territory.
The hill shows at the east side of the entrance to King George Bay, in the South Shetland Islands. It was charted in 1937 by Discovery Investigations personnel on the RRS Discovery II, who named it for Sir George E.R. Deacon, the oceanographer serving aboard the Discovery II.
The hill is volcanic, its summit formed by a volcanic cone.
