Léonie Island is the largest and westernmost of the Léonie Islands which lie in the entrance of Ryder Bay, off the south-eastern shore of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.
The island rises to a peak at 1,624 feet. It was charted in January 1909 by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1908-1910, and named IÎle Léonie, though who Léonie was whom they so honoured is not recorded.
The island was further charted by the British Graham Land Expedition in February 1936.
