English: Church of England parish church of the Holy Rood, Woodeaton, Oxfordshire: inside the nave looking west toward the tower supports and west gallery. Hatchment of a member of the Nourse family, possibly of of John Nourse of Woodeaton, last in the male line. Arms: Gules, a fess between two chevrons argent (Nourse). John Weyland of Woodrising Hall, Norfolk and Woodeaton, Oxfordshire, married Elizabeth Johanna Nourse, daughter and co-heiress of John Nourse of Woodeaton. Their son was WEYLAND, Richard (1780-1864), of Woodeaton, MP for Oxfordshire 1831-7[1].
