Wedding Dress
Worn at the marriage of Eliza Penelope Clay & Joseph Bright, at St James's Church, Piccadilly, 16th Feb. 1865

Silk-satin dress, trimmed with Honiton appliqué lace, machine net & bobbin lace; hand-sewn. The dress is high Victorian in design - a simple darted bodice with scoop neck trimmed with Honiton lace, 3/4 length flaring sleeves, pleated at elbows & also trimmed with lace and a wider pleated hoop skirt trimmed from halfway with an expanse of Honiton lace. With veil.
