Summary

Description
English: Uffington Horse: White Horse Hill. The horse carved out of the chalky ground on White Horse Hill is probably the oldest one in England and is thought to be about 3000 years old. The horse would orgininally have been "fatter". The best view if the horse is from the air. This view is taken from near the car park in the adjacent square, as it becomes less visible the closer one gets. The horse is in the western half of the square.
