Summary

Description

The old water tower on Tower Hill in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England. Built in the 19th century, it is now a Grade II* listed building and is believed to be the oldest remaining water tower in the country.

Additional 'info' from 'Jane'. Ermm...I took my camera up there one day trying to take photos of birds at the top of the tower. When I got home I found that I had found old inscribed graffiti some back to 1870. http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w62/janephotobucket/?action=view&current=OldGraffittiabovethecorbelling.jpg
