Description
English: A 19th century engraving of a 16th century drawing, showing the works at Tilbury in preparation for the Spanish Armada in 1588, probably to the design of Italian engineer, Federigo Giambelli (or Genibelli). The original D-shaped blockhouse can be seen in the front and centre of the fort.
