Summary

Description
English: The two Bolster Stones at Bolsterstone.. One theory is that the village gets its name from these stones ... others think the origin lies elsewhere. The two stones were moved to Bolsterstone from the nearby Unsliven Bridge and possibly formed the base for twin Anglo Saxon Crosses ... others think they were the base from a local Gibbet. They have been moved into the church yard for sefety. 1626638
