Summary

Description
English: Ruins of the Furnace Ironworks, near to Furnace, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain. Before the arrival of the iron works, the village, Furnace was known as Inverleacainn. Set up by the Duddon Iron Foundry from Cumbria on the platform of local reserves of timber for charcoal, the furnace ceased production in 1813
