English: The Old Yew Tree at Wilmington Churchyard The yew tree at Wilmington Church is reputed to be over 1600 years old. It was planted circa 400 AD and is believed to be the oldest yew tree in England. The trunk is massive and is so heavy it is supported by several sawn telegraph poles.
